This title comes from an October 2018 quote in which the White House occupant at the time said the following to a CBS news reporter: “This is the most deceptive, vicious world. It is vicious, it's full of lies, deceit and deception. You make a deal with somebody and it's like making a deal with -- that table.” This music marks the first moment of distraction from the outside world in our composition, and its impact on one's daily routine and discipline. Maybe that distraction is a headline, a news article, a tweet, a sound byte, an app, e-mail or text - something entering your consciousness and knocking you off your desired course. -MH
